v3.3.0: A 30-day trial for commercial use
Personal has always been free, but it is a non-commercial license. If you were evaluating GerbDiff for work, there was no honest way to try it at all. There is now a 30-day Commercial trial.
Signing up now asks what the account is for. Personal use stays free forever, exactly as before. Commercial use starts a 30-day trial: every feature, and exports with no Personal footer, because a trial that watermarked its output would not be showing you the thing you are evaluating. No credit card, no sales call, no separate download.
Already on Personal? The banner at the top of the window offers the trial too, so an existing account is not shut out of it.
When the trial ends, nothing locks. GerbDiff switches to the free Personal plan, the same way a lapsed subscription does, and subscribing at any point restores clean exports automatically.
Nothing else changed. If you are on Personal or on a paid plan today, this release leaves you exactly where you were.
